The existing façade of the structure was demolished and removed and replaced with a new façade whilst the bank remained operational. The constraints were further exacerbated by the fact that the building fronts onto a very busy main street where managing access and egress of customers and passers by was controlled using a detailed pedestrian and traffic management plan.
A complete fit out of the bank was completed in a very short timeframe including all security measures, bank counters, public areas, canteens and offices. The maintenance of live services throughout the contract involved complex services co-ordination.
